Moderne is a case designed for the 2014/15 Intel/Bit-Tech NUC competition.  It was one of the 5 final designs picked to be turned into reality.

The whole case is 3D printed using SLS Nylon, with smoked acrylic windows that act as status lights, letting you know whether the system is on or not.  Inspired by the modernist streamliner trains and cars of the 1930s, I tried to make sure there were no external buttons or distractions.  Instead, the front is touch sensitive, so you control the system with the swipe of a finger.
